Help is at hand to assist us through the current pandemic. If you are in a vulnerable group, or are self-isolating, or are struggling through this difficult time, please do not hesitate to contact us.
We are currently taking all requests by telephone or email:
Please note that the telephone is being manned between 9am – 5pm, Monday-Friday. At weekends we as of July 2020, answerphone only. Please call or leave a message and arrangements will be made for a volunteer to call you back.
We are offering assistance with:
- Prescription collection and delivery to your home. Vulnerable / Self-Isolating of any age. Please note that this can be accommodated for both Wellesbourne Hastings House dispensary and Dudley Taylor Pharmacy prescriptions, we also liaise with all the villages served by Hastings House and have a schedule – click here to view for deliveries for the villages. If you have a prescription at an external surgery, please ask your doctor to send it to Dudley Taylor Pharmacy Wellesbourne. It can then be processed and delivered out.
- Shopping (groceries) delivered to your home. Vulnerable / Self-Isolating of any age.
- For newspaper delivery please contact the One Stop, Wellesbourne (Bridge Street) on 01789 840286. Please note this is not the usual service resuming it is a service for the vulnerable and self-isolating.
- Telephone friendship. We understand this is a difficult period. If you want to talk to someone on the phone, we have volunteers ready. This is open to any age.
